I’m not even sure where to begin as I reminisce on Erin and Jaylan’s big day! This super sweet couple had their beautiful wedding at the charming Fairview Inn in Jackson, Mississippi.
From the moment I met them at their engagement session, I felt an instant connection with Erin and Jaylan. Not only are they some of the sweetest and most humble people I have had the pleasure of working with, but they are also joyful and oh so in love! Feeling an instant connection with a couple is something I always crave! They were like family from the start.
As Erin gushed about her wedding leading up to the big day, I waited with anticipation. I just knew it was going to spectacular and something special. And they didn’t let me down! A string quartet, a gorgeous bridal gown, charming venue, delicate details, and romantic vibes were just a few highlights of the day!
However my most favorite part of the day were the bride and groom portraits. Erin stressed to me from the beginning that photos were the most important part of the day. I did an internal happy dance when we had almost an hour for their portraits – complete with gorgeous, glowing light to illuminate the happy couple!
Instead of dancing after the ceremony, Erin and Jaylan opted for a formal dinner with their closest family and friends. It was intimate and cozy, celebrating alongside each other like family.
As a photographer I will always love these timeless images from their wedding day. As their new friend, I will cherish the connection we made together.
Congratulations Erin and Jaylan! I truly wish you both a lifetime of happiness!
