Dunleith Historic Inn Wedding | Jodie & Marc | Natchez, MS

If I could relive a wedding day over and over again every weekend, this would be it! Jodie and Marc had an absolutely beautiful Dunleith Historic Inn wedding in Natchez, Mississippi on Saturday October 9th. Touches of gold, pink, and ivory glittered throughout the iconic estate, making this a truly magical evening. The theme of romantic and elegant gave a feel of sophistication in the air.

This was truly a destination wedding for these two families as they came from all over the world to celebrate! It’s always amazing to see how two people can bring so many together. And it was even more heartwarming to see how much Jodie and Marc were loved by those friends and family members that traveled so far to share in this joyous occasion.

I absolutely love being a Natchez and destination wedding photographer. Getting to meet new people and share in their most special day is always an honor. This amazing couple was no exception! They were a blast to work with and you could just see the love radiate through them in each photograph. They were a dream couple for my brand – “classic, joyful, timeless”.

Before the wedding, I asked the lovely bride to describe to me how they met and how the wedding represents them as a couple. This was Jodie’s sweet response:

“Marc and I met at a happy hour in Washington, D.C. I gave him my business card and we immediately began getting to know one another better. After a lengthy courting period, we began dating officially in January 2017 and have been inseparable ever since. I would describe our relationship as truly just being best friends. We tell one another everything, we laugh and joke constantly, and just enjoy one another’s company. Our relationship itself isn’t really flashy or attention-craving, it’s just deep love and respect for one another. I want that to be seen on our big day, not as centers of attention, but as a time to bring everyone together. We have friends from all over the world coming, and we just want to enjoy this time and make memories with them as we enter our next chapter together.”

This Dunleith Historic Inn wedding was one for the books! It will always hold a special place in my heart. Congrats to this joyful couple!
