It’s been over a year and a half since I had the pleasure of photographing this absolutely glowing Vicksburg Bridal session and I’m still in love with every part of it! When I realized that I hadn’t blogged it back last year, I knew that I had to pull it out of my archives to share with y’all!
Ashlyn was the most glamorous bride, graceful and vibrant. She was beyond easy to photograph and made for such a fun and memorable session!
Our original plan was to start off at the Old Court House Museum. But as we arrived, we realized that the gates had been locked and knew our plans had to immediately change. Together with her mom, Ashlyn decided to try out the beautiful Anchuca Historic Mansion a few blocks away. Thankfully, they allowed us to pose for about thirty minutes of pictures to give her session some greenery and variety.
After finishing the first part of the evening, we headed over to the B.B. Club of in historic downtown Vicksburg. This venue was dazzling!! It literally had everything – a window lit ballroom, rooftop overlooking the city, and an architectural front porch! It was the perfect place for a bridal session, with inside and outside options to give a change of scenery. My favorite place was the rooftop, which is breathtaking at sunset! Add in the most beautiful bride and you’ve got a perfect evening for a session!
I had so much fun exploring the city of Vicksburg with Ashlyn and I cannot wait until the next time I can photograph in this fun city!
