Photographing a sweet wedding at The Barn at Bridlewood in Hattiesburg, Mississippi was always a dream of mine. The classic mix of Southern charm and elegance makes it an ideal venue for any wedding day! I’m so blessed to have been a part of Taylor and Max’s dream wedding day at this perfect location in December of 2022.
On an overcast and cool Winter’s day, this sweet couple made it official! We started the day off with the girls glamming it up in a nearby cottage while the guys hung out at The Stables. The wildlife of horses, donkeys, and goats, only added to the charm of the day.
The bridesmaids looked so classic in their black, velvety dresses while the groomsmen were dapper in their black and white tuxedos. Everything about this day was timeless! From the black and white theming, to the abundant greenery.
The highlight of the day for me was the emotional first look moment between Taylor and Max. The groom was absolutely breathless at the sight of his blushing bride, making us all emotional. After seeing each other, the couple shared in a private reading of their vows – such a special moment that any newly engaged couple should consider!
Another sweet moment from the day included the bride and groom stopping halfway through their first dance. They opened their arms to welcome and cradle their newborn baby. Happily, they swayed and cooed with him, beaming at their pride and joy!
I absolutely cannot get enough of this Barn at Bridlewood wedding day. From the stunning details, to the joyful couple, everything about this day was perfection! Congratulations to the happy couple on their marriage and newborn baby boy!!
