Even in the heart of winter, some days feel like pure magic. Sunny, serene, and filled with beauty. That’s exactly what Laura’s bridal session at The Greystone in Mandeville, Louisiana felt like. On a warm and golden February afternoon, we had the most breathtaking light pouring through the trees and bouncing off the details of her gorgeous gown.
Laura was a vision of elegance and joy. Her off-the-shoulder lace gown from Mae Me Bridal was both timeless and delicately modern. I simply adored the floral appliqué details and the dreamy train that flowed effortlessly. At first we started the session around the new pavilion and the gazebo. Here the soft light danced through the trees and gave everything that perfect romantic glow. This is the type of light and weather that photographers dream of! If only I could bottle it up and have it at every session.
She carried a classic white bouquet accented with greenery. Simple, fresh, and effortlessly refined. Laura truly looked like she belonged in a fairytale with her long, brunette waves cascading over her shoulders and a soft, radiant smile.
As the session continued, we captured both seated and standing portraits around the venue’s charming stone benches and fountain. Her veil added such a graceful, ethereal touch! Indeed every image felt intimate, joyful, and full of anticipation for the beautiful March day to come.
Bridal sessions like Laura’s are such a special part of the wedding journey. They allow brides to slow down, soak in the excitement, and create timeless portraits that will be cherished for generations.
Laura, thank you for letting me capture your glow and grace at your Greystone bridal session. You were absolutely radiant!
