Want to see pure joy on a wedding day? Look no further than Brittany and Nicholas’ Beau Chene Country Club wedding in Mandeville, Louisiana! Even on a chilly February day, these two were all smiles and laughter throughout the day, radiating their happiness to finally become one. Basically everything about this day was any Louisiana wedding photographer’s dream come true!
This dreamy winter wedding was held at Beau Chene Country Club in Mandeville, Louisiana. It was such a chic and elegant day, with both the bridesmaids and groomsmen dressed in classic black. Firstly, as I always do on wedding days, I started off with the couple’s details – and they did not disappoint! Especially with a timeless black and white color scheme, you can’t go wrong!
After the bride got dressed, we whisked her off to two sweet first looks – first with her dad and then with her groom. Brittany and Nicolas first look was so incredibly joyful and dreamy! They saw each other for the first time under a classic Louisiana setting of mossy trees out on the golf course. The sun was so gorgeous during their portrait time and their smiles made my romantic heart so happy!!
The Ceremony
The couple was then wed at the pavilion by the water at sunset. You simply couldn’t have asked for a better ceremony backdrop! Afterwards, we took a quick fifteen minutes for some sunlit “Just Married” portraits. I always recommend doing this if time allows because not only will your light be the best, but your emotions and happiness will be at an all time high!
The reception was seriously so much fun!! Especially the great food, tasty cake, and amazing music as they had a second line through the ballroom and out into the courtyard. These two knew how to party and have fun, surrounded by all of those that they love.
Overall I couldn’t have asked for a sweeter couple to work with! Because everything about Brittany and Nicolas wedding day was an absolute fairytale! Congratulations to the newlyweds!!
