The Chapel at First Baptist Covington Wedding | Brandi & Slate

As the warmth of spring washed over the quant town of Covington, Louisiana, love was in full bloom for Brandi and Slate! Their March wedding was a celebration of vibrant colors, heartfelt moments, and the promise of a lifetime together. Their special day began with excitement as Brandi and Slate prepared for their Chapel at First Baptist Church Covington wedding.

Nestled among the lush greenery of Covington, the chapel provided a serene backdrop for the start of their journey as husband and wife. Amidst the soft light of a cloudy day, Brandi and Slate shared a sweet first look. I loved capturing the raw emotions and pure joy that filled the air. A moment frozen in time. A glimpse into the love that would carry them through the years to come.

In a quiet courtyard, away from the hustle and bustle of their loved ones getting ready for the day, Brandi and Slate exchanged private vows. Their vows were intertwined with scripture and sealed with a prayer. It was a testament to the depth of their commitment to one another and – most importantly – to put God first.

The ceremony at the chapel was a beautiful reflection of their love, sweet and spirit-filled. Surrounded by their family and friends, Brandi and Slate exchanged rings. This ceremony officially marked the beginning of their journey as husband and wife!

Afterwards, the newlyweds and their guests made their way to Maison Lafitte in Mandeville, Louisiana. Finally, time for a fun reception! The historic venue was bursting with love and laughter as friends and family came together to celebrate. The last song played was “I See the Light” from Disney’s Tangled movie (a favorite of mine that was also played at my own wedding!) It was truly a memorable end to the evening. As soon as the night drew to a close, the newlyweds bid farewell to their guests with a sparkling exit. They were surrounded by the glow of sparklers and the promise of a bright future together.
