Bridal sessions are some of my favorite moments to capture. Maya’s Springtime bridal session at Arlington Mansion in Franklin, Louisiana was the perfect example of just that – classic, romantic, and full of Southern charm.
A Stunning Louisiana Venue for Bridal Portraits
We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful backdrop than the historic Arlington Mansion! With its grand white columns, sweeping porches, and manicured gardens, this venue is a dream for any Louisiana wedding photographer. The dreamy late March sunshine poured through the tall windows inside, highlighting the mansion’s antique details. Meanwhile the outdoor gardens added a fresh, romantic touch to Maya’s portraits.
Maya’s Bridal Look
Maya was absolutely radiant in her gown from Blue Bridal Boutique of Austin, designed by Made with Love Bridal. The clean lines and elegant silhouette of her dress paired beautifully with her delicate veil and handcrafted jewelry by Fabrique Designs. Her simple yet sophisticated bouquet of long-stemmed white roses, created by Flowers by Rodney, tied everything together perfectly.
Session Highlights
We began indoors, where the soft, natural light filtered through lace curtains. It was perfect for showcasing Maya’s gown and veil details. From there, we explored the sweeping porches and lush gardens. The combination of historic Southern architecture and spring florals gave us such a timeless backdrop for her portraits.
One of my favorite moments was when Maya stood in front of the mansion’s grand entrance. She was perfectly framed by columns and surrounded by blooming flowers. The setting was elegant yet effortless – just like her.
