Katya and Bert traveled from the Gulf Coast for their Springtime Southern Hotel engagement session and it was such a joy to capture their love story in the heart of Covington, Louisiana. As a Covington engagement and wedding photographer, I couldn’t have asked for a sweeter couple or prettier setting to showcase their connection.
Firstly, we began the afternoon at the Southern Hotel, one of downtown Covington’s most charming spots. Between the timeless hallways, the playful elevator, and the vibrant poolside mural, Katya and Bert brought such fun energy to every moment. The front landscaping of the hotel gave us a touch of Southern elegance, perfectly complementing their first outfit choice.
Afterward they changed into a second look and we ended at the Columbia Street Landing. Here in downtown Covington the evening light and waterfront views made the perfect romantic backdrop.
Katya and Bert’s laughter, sweet glances, and genuine joy made this session unforgettable! All in all, I loved documenting their journey as they prepare for the next chapter together.
