There’s something truly magical about a spring bridal session in Mississippi. Madeline’s sunny Jackson Mississippi bridal session at Kennington’s Mansion was nothing short of dreamy! As a Mississippi wedding photographer, I love when a bridal session feels both timeless and personal, and this one checked every box.
Madeline’s session took place in late April, on one of those perfect Southern days where the light is soft and everything feels fresh. Kennington’s Mansion provided the most stunning backdrop, with its historic charm, elegant staircases, and beautiful front porch. We spent time exploring both the antique indoor spaces and the gorgeous outdoor areas, which gave us such a lovely variety of images.
Madeline wore a breathtaking gown from Elle James Bridal, designed by Sareh Nouri. The off-the-shoulder neckline and full skirt felt incredibly romantic and timeless. It fit the grand setting of the mansion perfectly! The dress moved so beautifully as she walked through the grand halls and across the porches, creating that effortless, editorial feel every bride dreams of for her bridal portraits.
To add the perfect pop of color, Madeline carried a vibrant spring bouquet from Willow Blu. The mix of bright florals brought so much life to the soft, neutral tones of her gown. It was the perfect balance of classic Southern elegance and joyful spring color.
In fact, bridal sessions like this are one of my favorite parts of being a Jackson wedding photographer. They are such a wonderful opportunity for brides to fully enjoy their dress, feel relaxed in front of the camera, and create beautiful portraits without the rush of the wedding day timeline.
