Madison James and Dylan Culberson were wed in a charming Flowood, Mississippi wedding on June 27, 2020 at Riverside Church. While they had originally planned for this day to be huge celebration with family and friends, Covid-19 had other plans.
Through all of the chaos leading up to the day, Madison and Dylan embraced each change that came along and made their day special and intimate with just close family and a few friends. Their big reception that was planned had to be traded in for an intimate dinner. It was to be held at a lovely venue called The Ivy. Thankfully we had enough time allotted in our day to go take gorgeous bride and groom portraits at this beautiful venue!
When asked what her favorite moment of the day was, Madison responded:
“The most anticipated and special moment of our wedding day was our first look. We wanted to do a first look so we could see each other, get the nerves out of the way, and get our pictures taken before the ceremony. I made it the whole day without crying until I touched Dylan’s shoulder right before our first look. I cried tears of joy of course at the thought of him finally seeing me in my wedding dress that I had picked out a year before then. It was so special, and I’m glad we chose to do a first look.”
The original vision for their Flowood Mississippi wedding was unfortunately shifted. But that beautiful summer day is one they will never forget. Nothing is sweeter than marrying the love of your life. And that is something not even a virus can stop.Â
