Dreamy spanish moss, a golden glow, and a madly in love couple! We seriously could not have asked for a more gorgeous evening for our engagement session in Mandeville, Louisiana!
I had the absolute honor of photographing Katelyn and Jason’s engagement session last fall at Fontainbleu State Park. These two came dressed to impress and looked absolutely stunning in their complimentary shades of blue.
A quick side note to future brides – long dresses and blazers always look great on camera. Remember, you are only engaged once! So go all out and treat yo self! (I’ve gotta throw out that phrase for all of my fellow Parks & Recreation fans reading this!)
The stately Spanish moss was dripping with the golden sunset and I couldn’t help but beam behind my camera at their love, quickly capturing every smile, every laugh, and every tender kiss. Katelyn and Jason twirled and walked around the park hand in hand, feeling more relaxed than posed with each instruction I gave them.
In a bold move, this adventurous couple decided to end our time together by stepping into the cold waters of Lake Pontchartrain. They snuggled together as Jason lifted his future bride into the air for a grand finale kiss.
I absolutely cannot wait to celebrate these two in marriage as they are wed in late January at The Villa in Carriere, Mississippi. (And I give all the heart eyes to their beautiful French country styled venue!). Congrats to this sweet and happy couple!
