It’s no surprise – I’m in love with a spectacular Chateau Cocomar wedding. Need some styled inspiration? Picture it. An elegant tablescape, hand crafted stationary, a madly in love couple, and a stunning French inspired venue – all in the heart of Houston, Texas!
It is always a breath of creative fresh air when a photographer has a chance to attend a styled shoot. Not familiar with the concept? A styled shoot is when creative professionals come together to create a “fake” wedding. This is usually for the purpose of content building, vendor networking, and wedding inspiration for publication.
I always love being able to attend a styled shoot. It’s just plain fun getting to see and capture all of the beauty that other wedding professionals can dream up. And of course, it comes with the exhale too of capturing things at my own pace and style, unlike busy wedding days.
This inspirational shoot was at the magnificent Chateau Cocomar in Houston, Texas. It was led by the super talented Heather Benge of Styled Shoots Across America. This was my third shoot to attend of hers. It’s no doubt that she has stepped up every single time across the board!
Of the many different setups at this particular shoot, the pink portion of the day was most definitely my favorite. Pink is my favorite color, so I was immediately drawn to the soft blush, bright magentas, and glittery golds of the shoot. These colors came together in a whimsical style to create a beautifully, romantic atmosphere that any bride and groom would adore.
