If I could pick my most favorite location for bridal sessions (or any session for that matter) it would without a doubt be Nottoway Resort in White Castle, Louisiana. This place has literally everything to make for a dream session! So when Kayla reached out to me about scheduling this location for her bridal session prior to her January wedding, I was over the moon with excitement!
Kayla’s vision for her session was a classic, elegant, fairytale look. In her tiara and long white gloves, she most certainly shined like a princess. As I told her many times during the session, I truly felt like I was photographing royalty! Plus her glittery, long veil only added to the elegance of the evening.
Nottoway Resort is an expansive property that is the perfect upscale venue for any luxury session or wedding. Their grounds feature sixteen majestic oak trees spread across the 31-acre property. With grand staircases and sweeping balconies, Nottoway has no shortage of photographic locations. The real highlight for any bride though is the luxurious white ballroom. It has glittery, gold decor and clean white aesthetic fit for royalty. This room truly has everything to make a bride shine!
As you can see, I had so much fun photographing this Nottoway bridal session for Kayla. In an evening that was promising rain, we were glad to have a location that could serve us both inside and out. We were more than thankful that the rain held off so we could capture the glorious front of this beautiful mansion.
Brides, I highly recommend this location for any of your bridal session (or wedding) needs. Although there is a fee associated with using the property, it is more than worth it when you have a space that can truly showcase the beauty that you are! You only get married once – feel like a princess as you celebrate your happily ever after!
