I’m not even sure where to begin because Morgan and Zak’s Centennial Plaza wedding was an absolute DREAM! We could not have asked for a more perfect December day on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. From beautiful decor, to dreamy and emotional first looks, to joy filled kisses, it was certainly a day to remember!
Morgan and Zak are one of the most fun loving couples I’ve had the pleasure of working with! I love a wedding day filled with laughter, smiles, and tons of dancing! When I asked them how they met, this is their story:
“We met through mutual friends (who happen to be married now and are groomsmen/matron of honor) and we hated each other the first time we met. A year and a half later the same two mutual friends tricked us into being in the same place and we re-met and have been together ever since. The wedding represents our personalities and the love we have for each other.”
No matter how many times I hear relationship/proposal stories, my heart continues to melt with each one!
The colors for the wedding were emerald green, black, gold, and silvery sage green. The theme the couple wanted to convey was simple, formal, elegance.
One of the most unique aspects of the day came to their choice of exit. Rather than doing the traditional exit, this joyous couple decided to do a grand entrance! They were welcomed into their reception with streamers and ribbon wands. It was such a fun and different take on a traditional part of the wedding day.
As a Gulf Coast wedding photographer, it was such a pleasure to capture this sweet couple’s special day. Congratulations to the newly married Martins!
