Imagine a beautiful Spring day – the sun shining brightly and the lush, green gardens in full bloom. Add a stunningly sweet bride and groom and then you’ve got Jennifer and Austin’s April wedding day! As a Covington LA wedding photographer, I believe it was pure magic!!
Jennifer and Austin’s wedding was held at Vintage Court wedding venue in Covington, Louisiana. The elegant banquet hall is home to nine acres of ancient oak trees and lavish gardens. It’s the perfect venue for any special event! Jennifer said that the reason they chose the Vintage Court was because of the beautiful oak trees and gardens on the property. They wanted to have a simple, yet elegant background from mother nature.
When I asked them how they met, this was Jennifer’s answer:
“We initially met through mutual friends in college in 2016. It’s been a running joke that I “slid in his DMs” by inviting myself to the bar with him and his friends. Which I did, but as a friendly gesture! At first I was not interested in a relationship, but he won me over with his humor, our shared love for music, his attitude on life and compassion for others. I ended up with a gem!”
This couple was seriously SO much fun!! By then end of the evening, my cheeks were hurting from the smiles and laughter. Their wedding day went by incredibly smooth. In a day that promised rain, we were greeted with the golden glow of the sun for their first look at the “tree of life” and outdoor ceremony that followed.
I loved every minute of this special day with this amazing couple! I’m wishing them many years of happiness ahead!
