I simply cannot get enough of Phoebe’s beautiful Pitot House bridal session in the historic destination of New Orleans, Louisiana! This blossoming Spring morning was perfection for any glowing bride. The subtle colors of blue, ivory, and green were just the touch to complete this Southern bride.
It’s not very often I have the pleasure of photographing a morning session. So when it was the best time to fit everyone’s schedule for this event, I was very excited to try something new! And boy did it pay off!! The sun was positively glowing that morning. It added the perfect light and airy feel to these classic photographs.
The Bride
Phoebe was the most perfect Southern bride. My most favorite detail of her Essence of Australia dress was the beautiful, large bow on the back. It was simply the most perfect accessory! Plus she had one of my all time favorite accessories to complete any bridal look – a long veil. You just can’t beat the romantic vibes they add to images.
Another fun aspect to her session was the addition of her sweet Corgi. This doggie was so lovable and posed perfectly for his close-up. I’m a huge dog lover, so having your fur baby makes any session even more fun and memorable! I’ll never say no to that!
The Venue
The iconic venue is filled with such rich history that made this session even more special. The Pitot House was once home to first Mayor of New Orleans James Pitot and his family from 1810-1819. It’s filled with such stunning architecture that must be experienced! The green doors and tall columns set it apart but it’s the lush gardens and lawn that fully complete the property.
This Pitot House bridal session was absolutley one for the books! I will always cherish these images and, even more, the sweet bride in them. Congratulations Mrs. Brousse!
