This Mandeville bridal session with one of my gorgeous brides, Chelsea, is definitely one I’ll cherish forever! With Spanish moss, a giggling bride, and a sunset to die for, this evening could only have one outcome – stunning!
Bridal sessions typically take place before the wedding day. This is usually a chance for the bride to show off her dress and to practice her hair and makeup. When Chelsea mentioned that she wanted to wait and take her bridals after the wedding, I was intrigued to see how this session could be different. And boy was it, in the best way possible!
Chelsea and her maid of honor both arrived at Fontainebleau State Park in Mandeville, Louisiana ready for action! I seriously had so much with these two that my cheeks were hurting by the time I got back in my car at the end of the session. We laughed, twirled, and played with Chelsea’s long, flowy veil all the way until sunset. And that’s when the real fun began!
Early in the session, Chelsea mentioned that she liked the idea of getting in the water. We decided that if it was something she was serious about, we would wait until the end of the evening.
As the sun dipped lower into Lake Pontchartrain, Chelsea bravely ventured out into the water – wedding dress and all! We splashed and laughed so much, having the time of our lives! This was without a doubt a one of a kind experience that I’ll never forget.
This Mandeville bridal session was one for the ages! Thank you, Chelsea, for allowing me the honor of being your wedding photographer and for being such a fun loving and kind hearted bride! I wish you and your husband Adam a lifetime of happiness!
