You know that moment when you meet someone and just instantly click? I am so incredibly blessed to have had this experience with Kelsi! And may I add, her bridal session at Oak Hill Estate was an absolute dream!
Covid is the unfortunate bad guy that came into play during my time with Kelsi and her now husband Jonah. With unplanned reschedules, I was so incredibly disappointed to learn that I would no longer be able to photograph their wedding day because of a previous booking. What an absolute bummer!
Thankfully we were able to savor one last time together in a bridal session at the gorgeous Oak Hill Estate in Summit, Mississippi. This property was originally built in 1820 but was recently renovated to become Southwest Mississippi’s newest premiere event space! The main house is 2,600 square feet, surrounded by tons of beautiful acreage that is to die for. Inside there is a gorgeous bridal suite upstairs that is the perfect space for any bride and her girls to get ready in.
We could not have asked for more perfect weather during the evening. We even spotted a few young deer grazing on the lawn while Kelsi got dressed for her photos! They were so cute! The golden sun made this gorgeous bride glow and it shows in every image. We laughed, giggled, and twirled our way through the evening, all the way until the setting of the sun.
I’m so thankful that I was able to photograph Kelsi’s bridal and engagement sessions, even if I wasn’t able to be a part of the wedding day in the end. Getting to know new couples is a blessing and Kelsi and Jonah are no exception. Just getting to know them has truly brought me joy! Congratulations to the new Mr & Mrs!
